The use of heat as a remedy for back pain, sciatica or the consequences of more severe lower back issues, has been terribly popular but people fall frequently into the same old trap. Heat feels nice, when you’re in pain, the gravitation to things that feel nice is always a natural inevitablity. Once more, the most common missdiagnosis is that back pain is just ‘muscular’, with this frequent missdiagnosis the usage of heat would be at least rational.
The big problem with this is that back problems are not muscular and heat may well feel nice but it doesn’t do a thing, other than create further problems. Best case scenario is that heat just feels nice and isn’t helping the problem, worst case it is actually making the issue worse.
